Coach Nicole’s Griffith’s Coast 14g Red (Click for Image) team participated in their first ever championship at U9, but the team came up short against a powerful James Island side to claim finalists honors. Coach Griffith said this about the game, “The Coast 2014 girls Red made it to our first championship game! We worked hard the whole tournament with shutouts and scoring A-LOT of goals! We had players trying new positions but over all we worked together as a team and never gave up! We came in 2nd place and left everything we have put on the field!” |
