Emma Bucci’s soccer journey has taken her away from her Coast FA and Carolina Forest teams to include stops in ECNL and Ireland. But now she is officially a Gamecock ! Emotions ran high today when she put pen to paper at her signing ceremony in front of family, coaches, teammates and friends. Emma joins a very talented USC side that will compete in the ever tough South Eastern Conference.
Coast Director of Coaching Ross Morgan said “ I first saw Emma as a young child on the Coast FA soccer field along with her two older brothers Devin and Killian. It has been a wonderful thing to see her grow and improve everyday as a player. She is one of the most dedicated soccer players I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. We are very proud of Emma and look forward to seeing her on the field for the Gamecocks.” Coach RJ Bass added “ Myself and everyone who knows Bucci is extremely proud of her and all that she has accomplished. She is the epitome of what you can achieve through hard work and determination. She committed herself to her dream and now is on the path to reaping those rewards. We look forward to following her throughout her career. “
“Coast FA was my home for ten years and I had the most supportive group of coaches and teammates throughout my career who always pushed me to be better. I will always be so appreciative of Coast for giving me my love for soccer and following me to make sure I always achieved my goals “ said Emma.
