USYS youth soccer has different levels of play based on ability and teams advance or retreat through a promotion / relegation procedure. Unlike some other youth soccer organizations, a promotion to the next division in USYS must be earned on the field with positive results. The levels start with Recreation and then progress to Open, PMSL, National and finally Piedmont in the Southeastern United States. Coast FA is proud to announce that five of our teams have qualified to play the fall 2023 season in the Piedmont League against the top twelve teams of their respective age divisions from South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia. Coast has never had more than three teams represented in Piedmont in a given year so to have five this fall speaks volumes for the direction of the club. Coast Director of Coaching Ross Morgan said “ We are extremely proud that five of our teams have been awarded Piedmont slots for 2023. The credit for this achievement goes to our staff coaches and the players for all of their hard work and dedication. Congratulations to our 2006 & 2010 girls teams and our 2006, 2007 & 2010 boys teams for their accomplishment.”
