We are pleased to announce that Coerver Coaching and Coast FA have reached an agreement for Coerver to implement technical training programs for the club. Coerver is widely recognized as the world’s #1 soccer skills teaching method and will bring their 35 year global programming curriculum to the players in the Myrtle Beach area effective immediately. Registration for an eight week 2018 Summer Performance Academy is now open on www.coervercarolinaspa.com and a four week Winter Performance Academy will be offered in 2019 . Coast FA Director of Coaching Ross Morgan said ““ The outstanding work done by coaches R.J. Bass, Vinnie De La Cueva and Mario Benjamin with their Palmetto Select camps caught the attention of Coerver Executive Director Chris Castell. After one meeting it was clear that both organizations hold the same philosophy and ideals regarding technical development for youth players. Coerver is the perfect fit for Coast FA because they concentrate all of their efforts on technical training for individual players and are not interested in forming teams or starting a new club to compete with existing clubs. It is the best of both worlds for Myrtle Beach area players because it allows them to play matches for their club team during the spring and fall seasons and then concentrate on their individual skill level during the summer and Christmas break. There is no travel required and much less probability for injury because there are no matches involved. This is a great opportunity for a JV or Varsity player to prepare for their High School season or a rec level player that wishes to advance to select travel soccer. The Summer Performance Academy will be offered at multiple locations along the Grand Strand and prepare players well for their fall club season.”
