Coast FA is excited to announce Steef (pronounced Stave ) De Lange as our new Technical Director. Steef will oversee the coaching and player development of the club while focusing on the playing style, philosophy, culture, and standards throughout all age groups through U12, in addition to coaching the 2008 Boys Red team.

Steef is a native of the Netherlands (Holland), one of the most prestigious football nations in the world, best known for the birth of “total football” and its founder: Johan Cruyff, and is highly regarded as one the best youth/professional development systems in the world. De Lange grew up playing for ADO den Haag professional youth academy. ADO den Haag plays in the Eredivisie, which is the highest tier of professional football in the Netherlands and includes teams like AFC Ajax, PSV, and Feyenoord to name a few.

De Lange is a KNVB (Dutch National Football Federation) coach, as well as a UEFA certified Youth Coach with degrees in Sports Management and Business Management. Steven has coaching experience with professional club Arsenal FC, has been Technical director for Next Level Soccer (Maryland), and has his own company: Dutch Soccer Consultants through which he consults US Soccer clubs on how to develop and shape their youth academy according to professional European standards. Steven is fluent in Dutch (Native), English, and German
