The 4th annual Coast Pre Season Classic is now officially in the books. One hundred eighteen teams from five states were hosted along the Grand Strand at the Market Commons Complex and the North Myrtle Beach Sports Park. Oregon, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina were represented at this year’s event. Big thanks goes out to all of the teams, referees, vendors, trainers, marshals and city support staff to help us pull this off. Coast FA teams racked up the medals claiming five championships and six finalist trophies over the weekend. “ Getting all of our teams three to four matches at home in the preseason is a huge plus for our club. It really puts a light on our weaknesses going into the regular season play so that our coaches can address them over the next couple of weeks. We were pleasantly surprised with the number of our teams that medaled. It was really fun to see some of our new players play their first match in the red and black “ said Coast Director Heyward Gulledge.
