After two weeks of rain that prevented any training, we jumped directly into the Coast Pre Season Classic to finally play some soccer. The complexes dried out in the nick of time to allow the tournament to host one hundred teams from North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. Coast Director of Coaching Ross Morgan said “ It takes a lot of pre event preparation, a solid staff and a lot of luck weather wise to put on a good event. I cannot say enough good things about the City of North Myrtle Beach and City of Myrtle Beach staffs, Ernie Fisher and his referees, the athletic trainers from Beach Training and our field marshals. Our Coast FA teams represented themselves well this weekend claiming seven championships and seven finalist trophies. Our Pre Season event is a great way to get our legs under us to start the fall season.”
